Sample Itinerary

Pre-Tour – March 17: Nanaimo to Vancouver (Tsawwassen)

  • Make your way to Duke Point Ferry Terminal for your ferry to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
  • 5:45 PM – Ferry departs to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal (walk-on ferry fee included).
  • 7:48 PM – Arrive at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and meet your driver.
  • Transfer to your hotel.

Day 1 – March 18: Vancouver to Whitehorse

  • 6:00 AM – Meet your DCSA guide at the hotel lobby and transfer to Vancouver International Airport.
  • 6:50 AM – Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and check in for your flight. Proceed to the gate with your guide and chaperone. Please have your passport ready.
  • 8:35 AM – Flight departs for Whitehorse. Complimentary snacks served onboard.
  • 11:00 AM – Arrive in Whitehorse and meet your local representative.
  • Transfer to your accommodations, check in, and receive your Arctic clothing.
  • Enjoy a gourmet group dinner at the lodge.
  • Late night/early morning opportunity to view the Northern Lights. Enjoy a campfire and s’mores with your guide.

Day 2 – March 19: Whitehorse

  • 9:00 AM – Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Depart for your Carcross tour. Activities include hiking the desert sand dunes, walking by the lake, and photographing the Carcross totem poles (weather dependent).
  • 12:30 PM – Return to the lodge for lunch (included).
  • Half-day dog sledding experience
  • Enjoy another group dinner at the lodge.
  • Late night/early morning opportunity to view the Northern Lights, including a campfire experience.

Day 3 – March 20: Whitehorse to Vancouver to Nanaimo

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • 7:00 AM – Check out and depart for Whitehorse Airport.
  • 7:45 AM – Check in for your flight with your guide and proceed to the boarding gate.
  • 9:45 AM – Flight departs for Vancouver.
  • 12:00 PM – Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
  • 3:15 PM – Ferry sailing to Nanaimo (Duke Point) as foot passengers (walk-on ferry tickets included).
