Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Nanaimo to Sicamous
- Make your way to Departure Bay Ferry Terminal
- 8:40 am: Ferry to Horseshoe Bay (walk-on ferry fee included)
- 10:20 am: Arrive at Horseshoe Bay – Meet your DCSA guide
- Start the tour with games, fun facts, and stories about Vancouver and the Rockies
- Lunch stop in Hope (own expense)
- Drive through the Northern Okanagan Valley – Canada’s desert!
- 3:45 pm: Visit Pete’s Farm (admission included), enjoy hot chocolate by a campfire (weather dependent)
- 6:30 pm: Check into your hotel in Sicamous
- Pizza dinner included at the hotel
- 10:00 pm: Curfew
Day 2: Sicamous to Banff
- Breakfast included
- 8:00 am: Depart for Lake Louise with a stop at Rogers Pass
- Visit Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park
- Lunch at Lake Louise village (own expense)
- Visit Lake Louise and the Chateau – Optional lakeside stroll
- Arrive in Banff and check into your hotel
- Evening: Free time for dinner on Banff Avenue and to enjoy the hotel
- 10:00 pm: Curfew
Day 3: Icefield Parkway & Banff
- Breakfast included
- 9:00 am: Depart for Bow Lake (weather permitting)
- Visit Johnston Canyon and hike to the lower falls
- Evening free for dinner on Banff Avenue (own expense)
- Enjoy Banff Gondola (included) for panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains
- 9:00 pm: Meet your guides and walk back to the hotel
- 10:00 pm: Curfew
Day 4: Banff to Nanaimo
- 6:00 am: Wake-up call
- 7:00 am: Depart for Vancouver (bagged breakfast included)
- Lunch stop in Kamloops (own expense)
- 5:30 pm: Drop off at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
- 7:05 pm: Ferry back to Departure Bay in Nanaimo (walk-on ferry fee included)
- 8:15 pm: Arrive at Departure Bay Ferry Terminal
