Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Nanaimo to Valemount

Make your way to Departure Bay Ferry Terminal for your ferry to Horseshoe Bay.

8:25 AM – Ferry to Horseshoe Bay. Your walk-on ferry fee is included.

10:05 AM – Arrive at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal where your guide will greet you.

The fun begins! Your Tour Guide will start off the tour with introductions and games. Hear interesting facts about Vancouver and the Rockies as you make your way out of the city and into the mountains!

12:00 PM – Stop for lunch in Hope (own expense).

Drive through the northern part of the Okanagan Valley, Canada's desert!

Visit Spahats Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park.

Drive to Valemount this evening.

7:45 PM – Check-in to the hotel in Valemount.

Free time to buy dinner (own expense).

10:00 PM – Curfew.

Day 2: Valemount to Calgary

Breakfast included

8:00 AM – Depart for Jasper.

Visit the Mount Robson Visitor Centre to see Mt. Robson, the highest point in the Canadian Rockies (weather permitting).

Continue to the town of Jasper for lunch (own expense).

Travel the Icefields Parkway with a stop at Lake Louise.

Visit the town of Banff and enjoy a tour including Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner, and Banff Avenue.

Enjoy the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for panoramic mountain views.

Check into your hotel in downtown Calgary.

10:00 PM – Curfew.

Day 3: Calgary & Drumheller

Breakfast included

Enjoy a driving tour of downtown Calgary including Olympic Plaza, Stephen Avenue, the Bow Building, the Armengol Statues, and the Calgary Central Library.

Depart for Drumheller

Visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum, home to one of the world’s largest dinosaur fossil collections.

Return to Calgary with free time for dinner (own expense).

10:30 PM – Curfew.
